Owls To Face Blues

Wednesday have added a pre-season friendly date with UniBond Premier League side Frickley Athletic to their fixture calendar.

The Owls have already named a number of close season games as boss Brian Laws prepares for the 2009-10 campaign.

And they'll travel to South Elmsall to the Tech5 Stadium to face Billy Heath's men on Wednesday, July 29, with a 7pm kick-off.

With Wednesday travelling to face Northampton Town the previous day, it's likely to be an Owls side mixed with youth, reserves and a couple of first teamers.

Assistant boss Russ Wilcox was a former Frickley player and will enjoy returning to Westfield Lane for the clash.
