Hinds Signs New Owls Deal

Hinds Signs New Owls Deal

Utility man Richard Hinds has been rewarded for his 'unsung' performances in the blue and white with a new two-year deal at S6.

The former Scunthorpe man battled back from injury to feature regularly for Wednesday in the close weeks of the season.

And that form seems to have rubbed off well with boss Brian Laws - who brought him to S6 from former club Scunthorpe - who has given the defender a new two-year deal at Hillsborough.

Laws told the Sheffield Star: 'He has been one of our most consistent players; he got back way ahead of schedule and if anybody doubted he would come back he proved them wrong.'

The 28-year-old has become the fourth Owl to pen a new deal at the club following the end of the season, following Marcus Tudgay, Lee Grant and Michael Gray.

Like hinds a lot, as a player, so this is fully justified for me.
