Owls Nearing 10,000

Season ticket sales at Hillsborough are up by 28 per cent on last year as Wednesday closed in on the 10,000 mark this afternoon.

Chairman Lee Strafford has set a target of 16,500 sales by the end of July, and Owls fans have been snapping season tickets up recently to boost the figure.

And the Owls ticket office is set to continue sales at a good rate until the initial deadline for reduced priced tickets, on June 13.

The sales are up by 28 per cent on last season, currently standing at 9,067 compared to 7,067 at the same period last season.

Strafford has promised an increased budget of spending to boss Brian Laws should season ticket sales reach the magical 16,500 mark.

Season tickets can be renewed online now by visiting the official SWFC website.
