Wednesday Transfer Target Released

Wednesday transfer target Ryan France has been released from his contract at Premier League Hull City today.

The Sheffield-born midfielder was one of eight players to be shown the door at the KC Stadium, indicating a move to Hillsborough could well be on the cards.

France had been linked with a move to the Owls before the season even ended, having Championship experience in abundance with the Tigers and costing the Owls nothing.

The 28-year-old had been part of the Hull side that came from the third division to the top flight of English football after moving for just £15,000 from Alfreton Town.

Reports have claimed that France had already penned a deal with Owls boss Brian Laws, but his move for Tommy Miller, and links with former loanee Darren Potter, could have put an end to any move.

We would be mad not to try snapping him up!!

No thanks, isn't really the qaulity we need in this area, would be a squad player at most imo, and although strength in depth is an issue for us at the minute i think we can do a bit better. Would like to see us sign someone to play week in week out, someone who'll give JJ and EE a huge kick up the arse

wesp
its ok just looked myself forgot how easy the internet is ''derb'' plays for zaragoza theyre in spanish second so he could come back
wesp
last i checked they were top of the table and the song was second choice on the wing, behind sum fella who they signed from valencia! probably wont be needed should they return to la liga, cant hurt to try can it? just the kind of quality that could make us quite a decent side

I'd be very pleased to see us get France, he's versatile, experienced and he's a good age. We're not going to get a full season out of gray, or EE the way he's going, so why not?

just think we can do better. i know we've got little or no cash to spend but signing a player who holds the record of most substitute appearances for hull city doesnt really do it for me! like ive said before though, brian has a decent record of signing other peoples cast offs on a free so if he's good enough for him i suppose i can live with it! although i have heard he's a blade...

also, is this the same north stand owl who has sat next to me for the last two seasons??? i want my i.d. back you tosser
neverlicktheBeever
Why? It's not like you've got a car ha ha !
