Owls' JJ Gets Red For Jamaica

Wednesday's livewire winger Jermaine Johnson had mixed fortunes as he pulled on the Jamaica jersey against Panama - scoring and seeing red in their 3-2 victory.

Jet-heeled winnger Johnson was red carded in injury time as John Barnes' men came out on top in a five goal thriller last night.

It was his second red card in three games at international level, and will no doubt be a concern to Barnes and the rest of the coaching staff.

But JJ showed what he could do by scoring a superb goal and excelling in a new, creative midfielder role, which was given to him by the former Liverpool legend.

The dismissal will see Johnson hit with another ban ahead of Jamaican's CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament in America.

Same old JJ, flashes of brilliance followed by petulant behaviour resulting in a red card, typical game then. Part of me thinks we can't ever really rely on him and should get rid!

nah annoying as he is sometimes hes class when hes on it only winger that really runs at defences plus the pigs dont like playing against him, all he needs a big kick up the bottom. Just heard the Victor Anichebe rumour again what do you reckon is it him or Sears? coz both would be awesome

JJ makes Paulo Di Canio look like a saint!!

He's a complete idiot! He may show flashes of brilliance but how many crosses does he get in? How many shots on target and not blasted high and wide? His final product is very poor, all he's got is winning some free kicks in the final third. But his attitude and temperament let him down time and time again, he's a liability.

Wonder how many times he will be shown the red card this coming season?
will it ever happen
Haha I've never really cosidered JJ as a playmaker... mainly cos he can't see a pass let alone play it. If he wasn't super quick he wouldn't be a reyt lot of use.
