Friday Derby For Wednesday

Friday Derby For Wednesday

Wednesday's Steel City Derby clash with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane has been moved be be screened live on Sky television.

The Owls' first Sheffield Derby clash of the 2009-10 campaign will now take place on Friday, September 18 (kick-off 7.45pm) in front of the Sky cameras.

The clash was originally scheduled for the following day, Saturday, September 19.

The Friday night showing is sure to set the tone for another electric Steel City Derby - and hopefully another three points for the blue and white half of Sheffield!

seems a little daft... SYP probably moved it to reduce drinking time before KO. Sure no fans will drink on a Friday evening!

I was shocked to say the least, they first change time on police advice to 12.30 to stop drinking before game, then change it to 19.45 on a friday night, just glad i'll be no where near bumhole lane that night, i think the pigs must need the money so badly, or they need plenty to drink to numb the pain, i wonder which one it is.
