Potter Attends Owls Medical

Wednesday target Darren Potter looks set to put pen to paper on a permanent deal at Hillsborough after attending a medical at S6 yesterday.

The Wolves midfielder has always looked likely to be back in a blue and white shirt next season after enjoying a loan spell at Wednesday last term - with it being only as matter of when, not if.

And Vital sources have revealed the former Liverpool youngster was at the club yesterday to undergo a medical.

Wolves gave permission for the midfielder to discuss terms with the Owls before agreeing a final transfer fee for Potter.

And it looks as though he met with boss Brian Laws yesterday to sort out a contract with the club and undergo a medical - with Laws since revealing in the media that Potter is likely to sign next week.

Assuming nobody leaves Laws appears to be putting together a squad that can cope with a 46 game league season both physically and mentally. Experience with Purse and Miller should bring some consistency and a fit Sodje for a full season no doubt will bring us minimum 20 goals, bring it on!

Bad news. Results of the medical show that he has no recurring injury problems and will not fit in with the rest of the squad.

Delighted, i think he did very well on loan, after not having to much first team football. Match fit, and season ready, he would be 1st choice alongside Miller. On Tudgay, i can see him going, but cant blame him, loyalty is one thing but if any of us are offered probably double the wages we would all move. If he stays, and turns down Prem football, then that is a sign of real loyalty and commitment to SWFC, which i would love to see, as that would be a real boost for the whole team!
