Potter Seals Owls Switch

Wolves' Darren Potter has finally signed on the dotted line to make a permanent move to Hillsborough after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Potter's arrival at S6 is no surprise, and it seemed only a matter of time as to when the former Liverpool youngster was going to pen a permanent move to S6 rather than if.

The midfielder arrived at Wednesday on loan from Wolves last season and impressed boss Brian Laws, scoring on his debut against Charlton Athletic and netting a last-gasp leveller in the Owls' final away game of last season at Bristol City.

And he's done enough to warrant a full-time deal with the Owls after falling down the pecking order at Wolves following promotion to the Premier League.

Welcome back, Darren!

ehopkin
the player or the film? :)
aussie2005
I'll give him time. Wasn't that impressed with him last season but now he knows where his future lies we might see the best of him?
will it ever happen
Or he could go the other way, ( ie Jeffers ) now that he's got a contract, i hope not.

Delighted, nice squad coming together. Would like to see the Tudgay issue sorted. Also no word on Wood and Spurr signing their contracts yet either?

At least one long running summer saga has reached an end.

Well over priced, Moyes is taking a big chance with him, like to bet in 12 months time he be struggling to get in your reserve side, anyway what about loaning us Anichebe for the season, you lot don't need him now you've got jo, please send him for the season!! ecco owl YOU NUMPTY ECCO-PIG
bladesforlife1889
thats an original nickname there BFL wonder how you come up with that, your imagination is amazing, i bet i could pull up numerous quotes that would show you up for the idiotic pointless grunter you are. notably the comments were you declared yourself as a premiership bound club. haha oh how i chuckled
smiggyswfc
glad to see you back to your usual crap smig-pig!! your diplomatic comments on our site were very amusing. im sure you and ecco have something going?? (bet your like 2 little piggy's rolling around in the bud grunting together) ha ha
bladesforlife1889
if we got promoted we'd finish mid-table easy, i'd expect us to finish above burnley stoke pompey wigan bolton blues and wolves lol that was class
wesp
but true wesp!!
bladesforlife1889
bolton, pompey, wigan!?come of it, the others maybe but its all academic anyway coz you didnt
wesp
Pigforlife what crap are you coming out with now, he is over priced by 4m, one season don't make you a 6m player, like i say moyes is taking a big chance with him, and for your information i've never been out of work in my life, you are the numpty, up setting the Everton fans with all your lies, PIGGY 8ASTARD!!
ecco owl
upsetting the everton fans with lies? please explain numpty. as far as im aware you came on there saying how crap he was. ha ha you have just made yourself look like a right pudding in front of your own fans with a comment like that. if thats the cast the grant must be worth 250k!!
bladesforlife1889
Sorry pig no time to argue with you, i'm off to Malta to see the best team in Sheffield, unlike you i'm a true supporter. UP THE OWLS!!
ecco owl
BFL u notice u dnt ever say anything logical to me, just fairytale stories about me being a snort beast or sum crap along those lines, i try speaking football to u, but u have pathetic narrow minded views about your glorious world beating team
smiggyswfc
ha ha that's a classic - you have never talked about football in your life, you don't know the first thing pig!!
bladesforlife1889
this is the best newes iv had in a week ..iv been in marocco for a week and it was a dump a smelly bum hole of a place iv said it before lads this lad is good and will do great job for us good passer good at set plays and will run all day things we have lacked at times when looking for vital goals he could pop up with something or make something happen
dublin owl
marocco?? ha ha
bladesforlife1889
what price range do you rate grant at lads out of interest?
bladesforlife1889
grant is priceless
aussie2005
don't talk wet even deluded pigs like you lot know every player has a price wether you agree with it or not........im guessing that if some of you rate naughton at 1.5-2m max then a 250k bid should get grant at the lane to replace paddy? yes? even though kieron westwood would be everyones no1 choice at BDTBL. he has to be the best keeper outside the championship by a long shot.
bladesforlife1889
Does everthing in football have a price BFL. Tudgay to Burnley 2Million, Grant to whoever 4million, Blackwell agreeing to stay after last seasons debacle and McCabe agreeing - PRICELESS!!!!!
Radon Barrier
4m grant??? typing error right?
bladesforlife1889
your closer with 1m for tudgay and 1.5-2m tops for grant
bladesforlife1889
bfl how many times have you seen grant play?
bradford_owl
what an absolute loser you are pig4life. i'v never heard so much 5hit
benowl
my best mate is a st holder at the poor side of the city, he says he's a good keeper but still has his moments...but 4m?? my god come on. you lot think naughton's only worth 2m?? and im the one talking 5hit benowl - please!!
bladesforlife1889
i'd luv us to go in for wood and spurr.
bladesforlife1889
questioning valuations coming from the person who said 12m + Rodwell + Anichebe was a fair price for Naughton LOL thats over 30m you silly billy
wesp
and ''deluded'' coming from the fan who thinks that a side not good enough to beat Burnley would not only do better than them in prem next year but would easily finish above half the league including Portsmouth and Bolton?
wesp
he never replies, when you prove him wrong EVER, unless its to call u a deluded snort beast or something along those lines as he posseses nigh on no football knowledge. just makes up lies and pretends he has contacts at scumhole lane
