Will Tudders Be An Owl?

Marcus Tudgay's future as a Sheffield Wednesday player has been thrown into doubt in recent weeks, and he's the subject of Vital's latest poll.

The former Derby man, who bagged the player of the year and golden boot honours at Hillsborough last season, has been linked with Premier League new-boys Burnley, something which has been confirmed by his agent and officials at Turf Moor.

But the striker had pledged his future to the blue and white stripes, agreeing to sign a new deal at S6 but also yet to put pen-to-paper on a deal.

Do you think Tudders will be at S6 next season?

I'm hoping so but it's lookin less likely as the days go on!!

i know the money would be handy but i'd still rather have a 100% player like tudders than some on loan players who walk away after a few months considerably richer and not concerned about the famous blue n white stripes, apparently tudders played well in Malta you can never doubt his commitment on the pitch, lets hope he puts the commitment in writing soon

Tudgay is top drawer we need him if we are gonna get out of this league!

Read the official site statement. It's just words and doesn't mean he stays, but it's a statement with balls, I like it.

I think burnley have unsettled him sufficiently to stop him signing the new contract.

On a separate point entirely. I wish John Hartson all the best in his battle against cancer.
