Owls Look To Tame Tigers

Wednesday face their toughest test of the pre-season so far when Premier League side Hull City make the trip to Hillsborough this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The Owls have enjoyed a mixed bag of results as they prepare for their 2009-10 Championship campaign.

But Phil Brown's Tigers are sure to offer the toughtest challenge yet for Brian Laws and his troops at Hillsborough today, with City winning all of their close season matches so far.

Laws is set to field a strong team for the Owls' first of two home friendly matches before the big kick-off against Barnsley on Saturday, August 8.

Akpo Sodje is set to continue in attack as he looks to improve his fitness, carrying on from a 90 minute showing and a goal in the Owls' victory at Stocksbridge in midweek.

Sodje could partner striker Marcus Tudgay in attack, with the former Derby hitman playing in front of his own fans for the first time since Burnley made an offer for his services.
