Tudgay Rumours Set To End

Tudgay Rumours Set To End

Speculation regarding the future of Owls striker Marcus Tudgay is set to come to an end in the next week, with recent reports pointing to good news for Wednesday fans.

The Owls' star performer last term has been the summer-long target of Premier League new-boys Burnley, who saw a bid believed to be around £1.5m rejected for his services.

And, if Tudgay's agent Darryl Powell was to be believed, it looked as though the former Derby striker was set to leave Hillsborough for a chance to prove himself in the top flight.

But reports in the national press and elsewhere today have pointed towards Tudgay pledging his future to the Owls this week and putting pen-to-paper on a new, three-year deal with Wednesday.

Powell revealed last week that some news regarding Tudgay's future would come sooner rather than later, and Owls' fans should learn of his future sometime this week.
