Tudgay Speculation Continues

Rumours surrounding the future of Marcus Tudgay have continued today with Burnley boss Owen Coyle revealing their interest in the striker is 'on hold'.

Reports over the weekend had suggested the former Derby hitman had turned down the chance to play in the Premier League with the Clarets and opted to pledge his future to the Owls.

And Coyle has gone some way to suggesting the Owls' top scorer from last season has done just that.

The Scotsman revealed to Sky Sports News that Wednesday have rejected the only offer Burnley have made for the striker and that there's been no discussions since.

It ties in with news from the player's agent, Darryl Powell, recently that some news would be on its way sooner rather than later regarding the player's future.

If Brian Laws does want Tudgay to stay its time he got him to sign a contract so we can put this sorry state behind us and get on with preparing for the new season which is now only a few weeks away
