Miller Time For Tommy

Wednesday new boy Tommy Miller will be in the squad for Saturday's Championship opener against Barnsley this weekend.

The former Ipswich and Sunderland midfielder has made only a handful of appearances for the Owls over the pre-season.

And Owls boss Brian Laws arranged a behind-closed-doors friendly clash last night to help players such as Miller in their fight for full fitness ahead of the new campaign.

And he came through the clash with flying colours, playing 75 minutes.

Laws has confirmed Miller will be in the squad for Saturday's visit of Simon Davey's men and Miller could get the green light for his first start in the famous blue and white stripes.
