Former Owl Pens Addicks Deal

Former Wednesday winger Wade Small has found a new club for the new season by agreeing a deal on a non-contract basis with League One side Charlton Athletic.

The winger was released by Wednesday last season after being deemed surplus to requirements by boss Brian Laws.

The former MK Dons man spent the pre-season on trial at The Valley, playing a bumber of pre-season friendly matches for the Addicks.

And Charlton officials will no doubt have been impressed by Small's solo effort in the Owls' victory at Charlton in the Championship last season.

The 25-year-old made 37 league starts for the Owls, scoring seven goals, and was sent out on loan to Blackpool at the end of last season.

Bothered....
Carbone's Padawan
He was a good little player for us and knew where the onion bag was. I don't think we should have sold him, can't see how weve improved by doing so. Great signing fot Charlton though. He would have worked as a makeshift striker.
Radon Barrier
I agree Radon. Had a bit of pace about the lad and could actually dribble past a player unlike our rather robotic midfielders at the min.
