Carling Cup Second Round Draw

Carling Cup Second Round Draw

Wednesday will be in the hat for the draw for the Second Round of the Carling Cup tonight.

The Owls will still be a seeded team for the draw, which takes place tonight at 10pm following the conclusion of the first round matches.

That means Wednesday will be drawn against a team that finished lower than them in the Football League last season, and the draw is no longer divided into northern and southern sections.

Potential draws include clashes with Barnsley, Leeds United or Port Vale - who knocked Sheffield United out of the competition last night.

Premier League clubs who aren't involved in European competition also enter at this stage, but can't be drawn against the Owls due to the current team seedings.
