Interest Shown In Owls' Jeffers

Wednesday boss Brian Laws has revealed that there has been interest from two clubs for transfer-listed striker Francis Jeffers.

The former Arsenal and Everton man was slapped on the transfer list on Wednesday following his red-card against Port Vale, which Laws decided was enough to warrant him with a move away from Hillsborough.

Jeffers apologised on Sky Sports News the following day, but it wasn't for Wednesday to change their decision on his future.

But the Owls boss has revealed that interest has been shown in his services from a British club, and a foreign club, following the decision to transfer list him.

Jeffers has until next Tuesday before the transfer window closes to secure a permanent move away from S6, although he could still be loaned out throughout the season.

Championship rivals Doncaster Rovers are the only club linked with the former England international in the media.
