Young Owls Clipped by Bristol

Sheffield Wednesday's Youth team suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 2-0 to an impressive looking Bristol City.

Wednesday, had started the season brightly defeating Premier League team Birmingham City away, but this result will have given the Owls a reality shock.

Bristol City sprayed the ball around well, and were well worth the 3 points against a youthful Wednesday side, who were without first year pros, Max Wragg, Callum Harrison and Charlie Tunnard.

The Owls travel to Wolves next weekend, where they will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

Wednesday: Cuff, Eckhardt, Cardwell, Wood, Poulton, Palmer, Meehan, Cottingham, Kirkland, Oliver, Modest.
