Owls Make Sure Kids Are Alright

Wednesday are encouraging the next generation of Owls fans to get down to Hillsborough this season by introducing cut-price admission for children

From the Coventry City match, on Saturday, October 17, onwards, junior members will be able to attend Owls' home fixtures for as little as 3 for under-8's and 5 for under-11's.

It's yet another positive move from the club, led by chairman Lee Strafford, as Wednesday continue to listen to feedback from the fans to get bums on seats inside S6 this season.

To take advantage of the offers, youngsters in each category must be child members, at the cost of 15 for the season.

Strafford told the official SWFC website: 'While we always aim to provide ticket prices that suit as many people as possible, fans who could not commit to a season ticket have asked us to see if we can create extra concessionary rates for children and I am pleased that we have now been able to incorporate that into our child membership scheme.'

More information on child memberships can be found by visiting the official Wednesday website at www.swfc.co.uk or by calling into the Hillsborough ticket office.

Good move Mr Strafford, doing something for the kids, i always said they should pay a little something, i'm sure a few mums and dads will take this offer up, the extra revenue will come in handy, it was only the other week when a bloke wanted to buy is son a ticket for a match and they wanted to charge him 18 for it. This is more like it L S.

Not before time. Another great move Sir Lee. I dont mind paying twenty quid or so, but its not on to pay anything like that for the kids and makes it a very expensive day for families. This makes a huge difference as is always proved in the kids for quid games. Bigger attendances, more support, better atmoshere. Its gotta be good for the club.
