Owls Ladies Set For Lincoln Test

Sheffield Wednesday Ladies FC welcome local rivals OOH Lincoln City to their Worksop Town ground for their second meeting in four weeks on Thursday night, kick-off 7.30pm.

Lincoln will carry the advantage into the game having picked up the three points last time the two sides met.

And Wednesday will be without the services of in-form midfielder Beth Gingell, while giving late fitness tests to Emily Scott and Rachel Lee.

Assistant manager Liam Kelly said: 'I think when you look at league tables and the stats Lincoln will be expected to win this, but we all know form goes out of the window in local derby matches, the team that wants this the most will win.

'We have a massive week coming up, with Thursday's game, a potential 6 pointer against Luton on Sunday, we need to pull together, and start believing and produce the action, because as bad as things seem at the moment, we'll learn from the mistakes, take it forward and one thing I will say is our motivation to turn this corner is of the highest, and we will make this happen.'
