JJ Set For Owls Century

Wednesday's jet-heeled winger Jermaine Johnson could be in line for his 100th appearance in the blue and white stripes tonight as the Owls take on Preston.

The Jamaican has made 99 appearances in all competitions since making the move to Hillsborough, including substitute appearances.

And he'll no doubt be looking to celebrate that stat should he get the nod to continue his starting role agaisnt the Deepdale club in the Championship tonight.

Even if he doesn't start, with Etienne Esajas pushing for a return, he's still likely to make an appearance at some point tonight, even if it is off the substitutes bench.

But his performance in the 2-0 victory over Coventry City at the weekend almost certainly means he'll be included in Laws' starting eleven tonight.

Since making the move to S6 from Bradford City, JJ has made 73 league starts and 18 league appearances from the bench, notching eight goals along the way.

He's also enjoyed three FA Cup starts and four League Cup starts with one sub appearance, scoring two goals in the process.

Let's have something a little bit special to celebrate tonight shall we, JJ?
