Gray Set For Sidelines

Wednesday's experienced winger Michael Gray is expected to miss this weekend's tough trip to Bristol City with a hamstring injury.

The former Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers man picked up the injury in the 4-1 thrashing at Watford on Friday night, being forced to leave the pitch early in the second half.

The news will be a big blow to Owls boss Brian Laws, with Gray being one of the more positive points about Wednesday's campaign so far.

But Gray's absence shouldn't be a long one, with boss Brian Laws confirming today that there's no tear, and that Gray's expected to be given the green light for the home clash with Q.P.R. a week later.

Etienne Esajas could be propelled into the first team after taking part in the reserve's 4-2 success over Walsall in midweek.

Shame about him, how come players that are not playing so well never seem to get injured ?

I always got told that you're more likely to get injured if you go into a tackle half hearted when I was younger. Now I know that was a lie!
