Former Owl Snubs Millers

Former Owl Snubs Millers

Leeds United's former Wednesday striker Enoch Showunmi has snubbed a move back to South Yorkshire with League 2 side Rotherham United.

Showunmi, who enjoyed a loan spell with the Owls from Bristol City before moving on to Elland Road in a permanent deal, is struggling to break into Simon Grayson's first team plans.

But he's this week turned down the opportunity of more first team football with Ronnie Moore's Millers.

Showunmi has made just six substitute appearances for Leeds this season.

He made just six appearances in the blue and white stripes during a loan spell at the start of 2008 but Owls boss Brian Laws didn't chase up a permanent deal for the striker.
