Owls Set For Two Signings

Wednesday boss Brian Laws has revealed that he's looking to bring in two players to the club on loan within the next ten days.

Laws will use the money received for the potential transfer of Richard Wood away from the club to bolster his squad with two additions.

The loan move of Akpo Sodje to Charlton Athletic will also help fund the moves.

And he's looking to do it before the Thursday, November 26, loan deadline, to boost his squad for the hectic Christmas period.

Laws told the Sheffield Star: 'Hopefully, before the loan window shuts, we can bring in possibly two players, if we can negotiate with the clubs on wages.'

He's identified a striker as one of the players, but has yet to disclose the position of the other.

It's thought Laws is hoping to get one deal tied up before this weekend's Championship visit to Ipswich Town.

id be very annoyed at BL if eastwood was part of the deal-he hasnt done it for coventry so why would he do it for us?? i meant if the club paid part of their wages actually pfl!!!!!

i think that you "had it on good authority" that woody was on his way to the lane, so forgive me for taking what you say with a skip of salt. bell-end.
