Potter Hoping Owls Aren't Camera Shy

Wednesday midfielder Darren Potter is hoping the Owls can make it third time lucky and swoop to a rare victory in front of the Sky TV cameras this weekend.

Brian Laws' men travel to Portman Road late on Saturday afternoon to take on Roy Keane's struggling Ipswich Town side, live on Sky Sports 1.

It'll be the third time Wednesday have been on live television this season, with the last two matches on Sky being matches to forget for Wednesdayites.

The first was disappointing defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, with the Blades winning the Sheffield derby clash 3-2 back in September.

A horror-show against Watford followed, as Wednesday collapsed to a 4-1 defeat against the Hornets - their biggest of the season so far.

And midfielder Potter is hoping he can help put that right against the Tractor Boys this weekend.

"Losing those two games is not something we've got wrapped up in, but it would be nice to do well in front of the cameras,' he said.

"The Watford game was probably one of our worst performances of the season. It just wasn't like us. We'll be looking to put that right this weekend."
