Owls Wait On Premier League Striker

Wednesday boss Brian Laws is today hoping to secure the loan capture of a Premier League striker, according to the Sheffield Star.

Laws has targetted a goalscorer as a main priority to bolster his squad before the loan transfer window closes this week.

The Owls gaffer was due to talk to a striker from a top flight club today in the hope that he'd agree a switch to Hillsborough in time for this weekend's visit of West Brom.

It's yet to be known if the club in question will pay the player's wages whilst he's at S6.

If they do, Laws will still have cash to further add to his squad, but if not he's prepared to use all his available budget to get his man.

Stoke City's Tom Soares has already been linked with move to South Yorkshire, although his favoured position is in midfield, not in attack.

Has Anichebe played for Everton yet this season? We were linked quite heavily with him in the summer. Sam Vokes from Wolves would please me.

Premier League darts? Phil Taylor he's got a good scoring record lol let face it we haven’t got the money so it will be some kid from pompy or Wigan who can not hit a pig's arse with a stick (not that I’m into hitting pig's just beating them lol)

according to laws at yesterdays AGM, a deal for a premier striker as fallen through - sounds all too familiar...

What a complete Joke. As per usual Laws in unable to attract and decent names. Arent we all just fed up with the constant rubbish coming out of Straffords mouth and Laws.
