Owls Swoop For Stoke's Soares

Owls Swoop For Stoke's Soares

Wednesday have completed their second loan signing of the day by bringing Stoke City midfielder Tom Soares to Hillsborough for a month.

The former Crystal Palace man will go straight into the squad for Saturday's visit of table-toppers West Brom and will be available until Monday, December 28.

The news follows hot-on-the-heels of this morning's loan addition of Cardiff City striker Warren Feeney.

The former England under-21 international has seen his first team appearances limited at the Premier League club this season and Wednesday could well extend the deal at the end of the initial month.

I second that Danigol I thought that this one had fallen through or was just a pipe dream very happy with the Soares deal not so much with the Feeey one though Soares was one of the best young players in the division whilst at Palace

Very pleased with this signing. Will give us that extra in midfield and does score goals, or he did. With this signing i can see us moving away from the bottom half. Not saying we are going to be moving towards the play-offs or owt, but it's a job done well by Laws. I reckon Soares will start on Saturday and Fenney to be on the bench.
will it ever happen
