Owls Draw Palace in Cup

Sheffield Wednesday's hopes of a glamour cup tie were dashed, as they were drawn against Championship rivals Crystal Palace.

The game against Neil Warnock's men will take place at Hillsborough on Saturday 2nd January.

Wednesday's record in the cup has been dismal in recent years, although they have won the famous trophy on three occasions: 1896, 1907 and 1935. Wednesday were also runners up in 1966 and 1993.

well done warnock for yet again beating the poor relations.

Forget the glamour cup ties Jarno. I'd settle for a few cup ties against opposition where we actually win for a change.
