Owls Set For Bumper Toon Gate

Wednesday can look forward to a bumper attendance on Boxing Day as Newcastle United and their large travelling army visit S6 in the Championship.

As expected, the table-toppers have sold out their initial allocation of 5,300 tickets for the West Stand, and are expected to receive, and sell, another allocation.

It's unclear yet whether Wednesday will also give away fans the North-West corner, which has been used by Owls fans so far this season, to the visitors.

The Owls have also reported good sales this week, despite the current poor form of the team, and the early kick-off for Sky TV (12.45pm), with the North Stand being made all-ticket.

May as well give them the north west corner, there's no way we'll have any chance of getting anywhere near filling the ground anyway......
