Laws Linked With Notts County

Former Wednesday boss Brian Laws has today been linked with the manager's job at League 2 big-spenders Notts County, according to tabloid reports.

Laws, who was sacked as Owls boss earlier this month following a string of bad results, is on a shortlist for the role with former Leicester City and Hull boss Peter Taylor according to the Daily Mirror.

And he could well be the preferred choice, having vast experience at League 1 and 2 level, which included helping Scunthorpe United to promotion during his spell with the Iron.

County currently sit sixth in League 2 and the pressure will be on any new boss at the club to achieve promotion this season, whether it be via the play-offs or automatically.
