Owls v Posh OFF
Wednesday's crunch clash against Championship relegation rivals Peterborough United this weekend has been postponed, it's been confirmed this morning.
Due to the recent heavy snowfall and frost the Hillsborough clash has been postponed on the grounds of public safety.
The Hillsborough pitch would have been playable thanks to the under-soil heating at the stadium.
But the concerns were with regards to the frozen roads and pavement around the ground, with temperatures set to remain around the freezing mark for the rest of the week.
The match is set to be rescheduled for a midweek date which is yet to be announced.
