Laws Linked With Burnley Post

Former Wednesday manager Brian Laws has emerged as a shock candidate for the vacant managerial post at Premier League side Burnley.

The Turf Moor club are without a manager after Owen Coyle, who led them to promotion from the Championship last season, left for rivals Bolton Wanderers last week.

The Clarets have already shown an interest in Laws during his time at Hillsborough, looking to make him their manager before the appointment of Coyle.

And, although Laws struggled during his final weeks at Wednesday, he could well be interviewed for the job this time around.

And his odds at bookmakers up and down the country have shortened in the last 48 hours as Burnley look to have a new man in place sooner rather than later.

On that note Beverley Owl, we should be concerned that Lawsy will look to take Grant, Tudgay and potentially Beevers if anybody. They're the only Wednesday players capable of Premier League standard in my opinion. Maybe Tommy Spurr??
Carbone's Padawan
Only Grant good enough for top flight football any others forget it!
dicanio23
let him take them apart from grant not one of them playing for the club!
HorburyOwl
Not good enough to manage in the Prem

Really??!!! Grant is worth at least 3.5 in today's market Tudgay 2m think you got your sums muddled up PFL!!
Bognor_Owl
with that adding up we will be able to get tevez for 5 million, I think he will do ok for them and if got offered some decent money for tudgay i would take at the min
bodsy owl
id take £1mill for tudgay at the min, in really bad form at the min, but then again who cud ya say is in good form for us-lol.
supersibon
i would say 1.5 could do with him finding some form and the rest but we did show signs against Newcastle i just Irvine gives them good kick up backside
bodsy owl
Haha, pfl the clown making things up again to make mates! Crikey what world do you live in! It's a bit sad when you have to make things up like that just to conjour up a post. Seriously though, i'd accept cash for them all, no one is irreplaceable.
