Owls Chairman Seeks Crowd Boost
Wednesday chairman Lee Strafford has called for Wednesdayites to turn out in force for tomorrow night's crunch Championship clash against Blackpool.
Strafford revealed on his Facebook page earlier today that just 640 matchday tickets had been sold for the clash against Ian Holloway's side so far.
It means that the Hillsborough crowd could be down on recent attendances by big numbers, with Blackpool's following expected to be relatively small.
And Wednesdayites are needed to back Alan Irvine and his men, with the Owls desperate for three points to haul them further away from the Championship relegation zone.
Wednesday have enjoyed improved fortunates on home soil under Irvine, and he'll no doubgt be looking to keep his winning home record in tact tomorrow.
Tickets for the category C game start at just £16 for adults, and Wednesdayites should get themselves up to S6 for the big clash.
