Championship Round-Up

Wednesday weren't in Championship action tonight, but Owls fans will have been keeping an eye on one fixture in particular.

Relegation rivals Scunthorpe United hosted Ipswich Town in one of just two matches in the division, with a 1-1 draw the result.

It's a result that will have probably suited Alan Irvine and his men, with both clubs remaining in the thick of relegation trouble.

Doncaster Rovers faced Leicester City at the Keepmoat Stadium in the night's other fixture, and the Foxes ran out 1-0 winners to keep their play-off hopes in tact.

There's no movement in the league table as far as Wednesday are concerned, as we sit 21st, just a position above the relegation zone, on 34 points.
