Strafford Calls For Owls' 12th Man
Wednesday chairman Lee Strafford has called on Wednesdayites to pack out Hillsborough for the crunch Steel City derby clash against United this weekend.
Just 5,600 tickets remained available in home areas of the ground this morning and the club are hoping all are snapped up in what could be a do-or-die match for Alan Irvine's men.
Sheffield United have sold out all of their allocation for the away end.
And Strafford insists the clash is the biggest Steel City derby since the two sides met at Wembley in 1993 as the Owls look for vital points to keep their Championship status in tact.
He told the official SWFC website: 'Every extra Wednesdayite's voice at Hillsborough on Sunday can make a positive impact on our club's fortunes and you can all play a part in what could be a key moment in the club's recent history.
He continued: 'I am sure that every Wednesday supporter will want to make a difference and the best way you can do that is by coming down to Hillsborough on Sunday.
Match tickets can still by bought by clicking here or visiting the Owls Megastore.
