BBC Ponder Owls-Palace Clash

Wednesday's crunch final Championship match of the season against relegation rivals Crystal Palace could be shown on the BBC.

The Beeb have the rights to show ten Football League matches this season and still have one slot remaining for a match on the final day of the season.

And Vital Wednesday understands that the Owls' potentially huge clash against Palace is the front-runner for the slot.

With the automatic promotion spots already decided with Newcastle United and West Brom, the relegation battle is set to continue until the final day.

And the Owls' clash with the Eagles could be a potential 'winner takes all' clash.

The BBC have until Tuesday, April 27 to decide on which match they'll be showing on the final weekend.

Knowing the BBC they'll probably put Newcastle on even though they are already up!!! Think they are are Sky at least twice again before end of season!!!

what was our last televised match? can't remember one for ages

It wouldn't bother me if we were never shown live on TV again. We always seem to play crap in front of the cameras, and showing it will affect the gate. Come on Wednesdayites, get down to the ground.

i would say newcastle will be the game they pick .

all showing us on TV will do is embarras us if we lose, it might give us money byut do we really need any more pressure on the team to win our final games of the season. If it isnt on tV more fans might go to hillsborough to watch the game. UP THE OWLS!!
SWFC_LUKE
