'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wednesday fans aiming for KOs!

Wednesday fan boxers Ryan Rhodes, John Fewkes and Ross Burkinshaw will be hoping to pack more of a punch than their team, when they fight later this month.

Ryan Rhodes will defend his European light-middleweight title, that he won in a thriller against Jamie Moore last year, against the 'Bergamo Bomber', Luca Messi.

On the undercard at Ponds Forge on the 21st May will be avid Owls, John 'Fireball' Fewkes and Ross 'the boss' Burkinshaw.
The duo are highly-rated and should be fighting for national honours in the near future.

Fellow Sheffield boxers, Kid Galahad and Richard Towers will also be on the bill in what promises to be a showcasing boxing event.

With the football season over, why not support the city's second favourite sport and cheer on fellow Owls in the process!

Tickets are available from the Ponds Forge website.
