Owls Reveal Friendly Games

Wednesday have revealed details of their pre-season matches as boss Alan Irvine prepares his troops for the 2010-11 campaign.

The Owls will start their summer with a trip to Austria on Saturday, July 3, before returning to home soil to play six friendly matches away from home.

A split Owls squad will face local sides Stocksbridge Park Steels and Hallam FC, both away and both kicking off at 7.45pm on Tuesday, July 13, to kick-off their domestica pre-season games.

A trip to Neil Woods' Grimsby Town follows on Saturday, July 17 (kick-off 3pm) before Wednesday travel to Darlington on Tuesday, July 20 (kick-off 7.30pm).

Scunthorpe United are our opponents at Glanford Park on Saturday, July 24 (kick-off 3pm).

And, as reported on Vital Wednesday earlier today, the Owls wrap up their pre-season schedule with a trip to South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at Oakwell on Tuesday, July 27 (kick-off 7.45pm).
