Wednesday Ladies Announce Pre-Season

Sheffield Wednesday Ladies FC have announced their summer friendly list as they prepare for their 2010-11 campaign.

The club have confirmed they will be playing seven friendly matches over the summer including clashes with counterparts from Sunderland, Stoke City and local rivals Barnsley.

Wednesday will open their close season fixtures with a home clash against Mansfield Town at Hillsborough Arena on Sunday, 11 July at 2pm.

They then travel to York City a week later before hosting the Tykes on Sunday, July 25 at 2pm and then hosting Retford at Worksop Town on Tuesday, July 27 at 7.45pm.

Wednesday travel to Stoke City on Sunday, August 1 at 2pm before hosting AFC Scarborough two days later and finishing their close season campaign at home against Sunderland on Sunday, August 8 at 2pm.
