Owls Accept Burnley Bid For Grant

Lee Grant's Wednesday career looks to be at an end after the Owls today accepted a bid from Burnley for the goalkeeper.

Brian Laws' Clarets have been desperate to get their man and Burnley's official site is now reporting that they've had a bid accepted.

The former England U21 is set to begin talks with the Turf Moor club.

if this is true....then it best be £2-3 mil that has been accepted and not £1 mil that was offered previously. still it has to be said i dont think we should be selling our best player, the transfer money must be used to bring in another quality keeper.

The board should be ashamed, selling one of our best and most hard to replace players to pay off a tax bill. Dont know how the transfer embargo works, but i assume that impacts players coming in, not going out, so we wont even be able to replace him until after Aug 11 at the earliest. I am really getting *****ed off by all the non-football bull***** ruining this club. the board should resign or sell up!
