Former Owl McAllister Finds New Club

Former Wednesday midfielder Sean McAllister has found a new club in time for the new season by signing for League Two side Shrewsbury Town

McAllister failed to win a new contract at Hillsborough and left the Owls at the end of last season after coming through the Owls' youth ranks.

But Shrews boss Graham Turner has snapped the 22-year-old up ahead of the new Football League campaign and was delighted to get his man.

McAllister will join another former Wednesday player in defender Graham Coughlan at Town.

Thought he would of been a player that we kept especially for Lg1 football. Always preferred him to Play central mid.

Good luck to you Sean, you were never really given a chance, it's just a pitty you did'nt get a game back end of last season, we might still be in the championship, always put himself about, and how potters getting a shirt is beyond me.
