Soccer AM Presents The Music

The Ultimate Soundtrack To The World Cup

2-CD set features Kaiser Chiefs, Editors, Orson, Kanye West, Razorlight and many more from the hit TV show

Released by UMTV - June 5, 2006

Ten years ago, former merchandise manager and MTV VJ Tim Lovejoy had a dream; to combine his two passions - music and football, on one TV show. The result was Soccer AM - one of Sky Sports` most popular shows. Each week, the show attracts a massive following - players, journalists and musicians - who are glued to Soccer AM`s unique mix of football, music, guests and comedy.

Now, for the first time, the show is immortalised through music, with a definitive 2-CD collection entitled Soccer AM presents The Music, featuring the best tracks played on the show over the last year, released 5th June through UMTV. With a track listing selected personally by Lovejoy and his Soccer AM production team, the 40 tracks are all killers with no fillers! From The Jam through to Dirty Pretty Things, Oasis to Orson, Hard-Fi, Kaiser Chiefs and Kanye West, it`s all the best tracks from the best Saturday morning football show.

Alongside the best indie, rock and hip-hop from the show, the album also includes the show`s theme tune (Ya Don`t See The Signs by Mark B and Blade) and the Soccerette song, Mr Big Stuff by Jean Knight.

This is the ultimate soundtrack to the World Cup. Equally, the album makes the perfect gift Father`s Day (Sunday June 18th)
