YOUR SAY: Wednesday's Promotion Push

Wednesday got their npower League One campaign off to the perfect start on Saturday with a 2-0 win against the Daggers - can we achive promotion back to the Championship?

The Owls are amongst the favourites to bounce back at the first time of asking and Saturday's opening day success certainly did their hopes no harm at all.

But do you think Wednesday can bounce back to the Championship this season?

Can we do it as champions, runners-up or through the nailbiting end-of-season play-offs?

Will we do it at all? Or will we find ourselves lingering in League One for a few years like last time, and follow in the footsteps of clubs like Leeds United and Nottingham Forest?

Our latest poll on Vital Wednesday is asking just that, and you can have YOUR SAY.

Everytime a so called expert is on tv or radio, southampton are the overwhelming favourites.....which i dont understand. Our squad is so much better thean any other in that league. On paper we should have it wrapped up with a good few games left, but typical wednesday, will probably do it the hard way.

If the squad bonds and develops well, i reckon we have an extremely good chance of getting into the automatics

Southampton like ourselves and Peterborough are among the favourites because of their fire power. Ourselves and the other relegated sides and the Saints will be there or thereabouts. Realistically I think we will finish in the top 4. With Huddersfield getting one of the top spots. Depending on confidence and how well we can bounce back from set backs we should be capable of getting a automatic place. Whether we will or not remains to be seen. Hopefully we will. It's early days yet though.

we could well win this league the team needs to gel though and quickley tudgay needs to sort himself out if he does him and morrison will be the best strike force in the league not one team worries me in this league and our team should'nt be afraid of no one

Our squad is miles better than Soton, only Lallana and Lambert would improve our team. Don't understand why the media are in love with them, its practically the same if not weaker team than when they got relegated and they were God awful then. P'boro and Huddersfield are prob our main threats for title Saints to finish 4th at best
