Owls Midfielder In Team Of The Week

Owls Midfielder In Team Of The Week

Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke has been included in the npower League One team of the week for his performance in the 5-0 thumping of Hartlepool United at the weekend.

Coke added another goal to his impressive tally since moving to Hillsborough, notching the second in the Owls' five-star showing at Victoria Park.

And his performance has seen him included in the official team of the week - though it's a surprise that more Wedensday players aren't included in the eleven.

Nice one, Giles!

Full team: John Sullivan (Yeovil), Elliot Omozusi (Leyton Orient), Jose Fonte (Southampton), Jamie McCombe (Huddersfield Town), Aaron Cresswell (Tranmere Rovers), Adam Lallana (Southampton), Giles Coke (Wednesday), Dietmar Hamann (MK Dons), Jason Kennedy (Rochdale), Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough), Josh McQuoid (Bournemouth).

No more than Giles deserves. It is so good to have a midfielder who tackles, runs, passes the ball forwards and .....scores goals!
