Wednesday To Face Chesterfield

Wednesday will face local rivals Chesterfield in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The draw took place yesterday morning on Sky's Soccer AM show, and the Owls will have home advantage against the Spireites, to be played in the week commencing Monday, October 4.

It will bring Owls legend John Sheridan, now in charge of the League Two side, back to Hillsborough.

Wednesday saw off Notts County 2-1 in the first round at Hillsborough last week, while Chesterfield progressed thanks to a 2-1 win at Walsall.
