Sky Pick Owls Clash With Spireites

Wednesday's second round Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at home to Chesterfield will be screened live on Sky Sports.

The match is being billed as the tie of the round, as far as Sky are concerned, and the clash will be screened live on Wednesday, October 6, with a 7.15pm kick-off.

As with the previous round, tickets will be priced at 5 for adults and 2.50 for concessions in advance to encourage pre-match sales, with prices rising to 10 for adults and 5 for concessions on the day of the game.

The Owls will be looking for better fortunes in front of the Sky cameras, with Sunday's televised clash at Brentford resulting in a 1-0 loss for Alan Irvine's men.

Wednesday progressed to the second round of the lower league competition thanks to a 2-1 victory over Notts County, James O'Connor netting both goals.
