Owls Look To Match S/T Sales

Wednesday are set to match the 16,000 season tickets sold last season as the deadline for discounts ends this weekend, according the SWFC Communications Manager Steve Chu.

Nearly 10,000 season tickets have already been snapped up by the Owls faithful despite price increases, and supporters have until 4pm on Saturday to get theirs at the discounted price.

Communications Manager Steve Chu told the official SWFC site: 'Once again our fans are getting behind the club in their numbers and proving why we were the best support side in the Championship last season.'

With the pre-season optimism kicking-in, and the signings of Madjid Bougherra, Wade Small and Kenny Lunt already complete, the numbers are set to to boost as the new season draws closer.

Mr Chu continued: 'We thank every one of our fans who has already bought their ticket for 2006/2007 and remind existing adult season ticket holders that their additional discount is only available until Saturday.'

For more information on season ticket prices and renewals, please contact the Owls ticket office on 0870 999 1867 or visit the official club website at www.swfc.co.uk.

It would be a bigger achievement for you. I think we'll find it achievable.

We're still 6,000 off with the discounted period nearly over, why would anyone want to pay more? I'm not sure we'll reach the 16,000 barrier.
