'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Forest, Burnley, Leeds Eye Owls' JJ

Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson hasn't even returned from injury this season and the transfer talk is already hotting up over a move away from S6 for the Jamaican.

Championship sides Burnley, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United are all weighing-up bids for the winger, according to SkySports.com today.

Following the Owls' relegation from the Championship last season, Johnson was one of a number of players linked away from a move from Hillsborough.

But a knee injury suffered in pre-season meant he was going nowhere, although an imminent return to action has prompted interest elsewhere, according to reports.

JJ is in the frame to return for Wednesday in their npower League One clash against Leyton Orient at Hillsborough this weekend.

And with his return, a return of the rumours that had linked Johnson with a move away from S6 over the summer.

The Championship trio are all thought to be weighing-up a deal that would take Johnson away from South Yorkshire on an emergency deal before completing a full move in the January transfer window.

Oh dear! Our current two wingers are not up to much (and yet we have widened the pitch for them!) and now we could be lossing the only realy fast winger we have (and would suit our up and under type of play) Goah I feel sorry for AI.

No doubt our board will bend over backwards to sell him.

if he goes can`t see us getting promoted, was looking foward to his return

Dont worry chaps theres no panic stations.Do you think he wants to leave (Dont think so).Of course there will people like Laws acting like a vulture around our star players but trust me he is as loyal as they come and wants to do well at Wednesday.Look at Grant do you think he enjoys warming Burnleys bench.

Teale and Sedgewick havnt covered themselves in glory yet. Johnson could be good in this league, the only way he would leave is y Wednesday pushing him out to save wages. At this stage, that does not make sense. A winning, Exiting Wednesday will draw crowds of 21000 to 23000 week in, week out. Far outweighing his wages. We know the board are mugs, but surely even they wouldnt loan a player out until January after we have nursed him back from injury, to risk him being injured again, only to be sent back so we can pay his wages again whilst injured. Surely not, but who knows with these clowns?

Strange how he's not fit until interest in him, think he could be the difference between going up or not. however we all know what the board will do, look at Grant

really need to keep are best players if we are to acheive anything and with this imminent takeover looks like there's no need to sell

hopfully now with the 2 mill investment and a deal nearly done jj and others can now be persusded to stay and get us out of this league. Shame it did'nt come before Lee Grant had to be sold to sit next to Brian Laws on the bench.
