Owls Could Suffer Fresh JJ Blow

Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson could have suffered a fresh injury blow after leaving last night's 2-0 defeat against Huddersfield with a hamstring problem.

The Jamaican made his first start of the season for the Owls but limped off after 82 minutes of the clash with the Terriers with the hamstring injury.

Wednesdayites will be keeping their fingers crossed that the jet-heeled winger won't be out for too long after only just returning from a pre-season injury setback.

'He's had a hamstring problem; whether that's an injury or cramp, I don't know,' Irvine told the Sheffield Star.

The Owls will find out the full extent of Johnson's injury later today after he's assessed by the Wednesday medical staff at Middlewood Road.
