Owls Draw Cobblers In FA Cup

Wednesday have been drawn at home against Northampton Town in the second round of the FA Cup.

The Owls were the first team out of the hat for the second round draw and bagged a favourable home tie in the prestigious competition against npower League Two opposition.

The draw took place at Wembley on ITV1 immediately after Wednesday's 5-2 victory at Blue Square Premier side Southport in front of the television cameras.

It's unlikely the Owls will be selected for live television coverage for a second round running after missing out on one of the 'magic of the FA Cup' ties against non-league opposition.

The match will be played on the weekend of Saturday November 27 and Sunday November 28.
