Carlisle To Host Owls In JP Trophy

Wednesday will travel to last season's beaten finalists Carlisle United in the northern area semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Owls have already lost against Carlisle this season, with a 1-0 victory for United at Hillsborough in npower League One.

It'll be another tough test for Alan Irvine and his men in their quest to reach the final of the competition at Wembley.

In the other northern area semi-final, Huddersfield Town travel to Tranmere Rovers.

In the southern section, Brentford host Charlton Athletic, while Bristol Rovers host Exeter City.

Three ties are to be played in the week commencing Monday, November 29, while the other game, which is yet to be decided, will be screened live on TV on Tuesday, December 14.

This is a tough match although Wednesday do seem to play better away from home. Up the Owls!
